College of Notre Dame Hosts 20th Drawing, Print Competitive Exhibition
Baltimore, Md., February 26, 2009 -- The 20th National Drawing and Print Competitive Exhibition will take place Monday, March 23, through Friday, April 24, in Gormley Gallery at College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
The juror is Allegra Marquart, professor of printmaking at Maryland Institute College of Art.
More than 400 entries were received. Thirty artists were selected to participate in the show.
Opening reception takes place Saturday, March 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. Ms. Marquart will give a juror’s talk at the reception.
Gormley Gallery is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an organization dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business and Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities.
