Lin Appointed To Women’s Housing Coalition Board
Baltimore, Md., February 4, 2010 --- Anne Y.F. Lin, Pharm.D., dean of College of Notre Dame of Maryland School of Pharmacy, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Housing Coalition in Baltimore.
The Women’s Housing Coalition is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women and children by providing affordable housing and supportive services to enable them to sustain social and financial independence.
“The Women’s Housing Coalition does such vital work to help women and children in Baltimore,” said Dr. Lin. “I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work to better the lives of women and their families in our city.”
Dr. Lin is the founding dean of College of Notre Dame School of Pharmacy, which welcomed its first class in fall 2009. Four hundred ninety-nine prospective students applied for the first 70 seats. College of Notre Dame School of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy school on the campus of a women’s college in the country and the second one in Maryland.
