College of Notre Dame welcomes students from every nation in the world to apply for admission. A diverse campus community enlarges the community’s world view and enriches classroom interaction. Valuing the contributions international students make to the campus community, the College has instituted scholarships for international students.
During the past decade, the number of international students attending College of Notre Dame has increased significantly. In the 2006-07academic year approximately 250 students representing 25 different countries attended the College's undergraduate, graduate and English Language Institute programs.
Programs and services for international students include non-credit study in the English Language Institute, orientation, and academic and immigration counseling.
At the same time, the College actively recruits and hires faculty and staff with international experience and intercultural expertise. The College has hosted several Fulbright Scholars as visiting faculty over the last few years; this, too, has added a rich international presence to the community.
How to Apply
International students follow the regular application procedures for Women's College Admissions. In addition, international students are required to submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Scores should be sent directly to Notre Dame by January for fall admission. The code for the TOEFL is 5114.
