How to Access Disability Support Services

  • Notify the director of the DSS office that you have a physical or learning challenge and would like to request accommodations. The office is located in Room 013 in Theresa Hall (410-532-5379).
  • Provide the director of DSS with documentation of your disability. This is a written assessment by a medical doctor or licensed psychologist. This assessment should be current, having been conducted within the last three years. A specific diagnosis should be included, as well as specific recommendations for practical accommodations.
  • If you need referrals to get a new educational assessment done, the director of DSS can provide you with a list of qualified providers, including sliding-scale-fee and no-fee options. Referral List for Testing
