Job Description:  The Career Center is seeking off-campus tutors for the 2013-2014 academic year.  Off-campus tutors will participate in the After School Program at St. Thomas Aquinas School in nearby Hampden tutoring various academic subjects.

Qualifications:  Ability to work with young children and reliability are key to establish good rapport with both students and the school.  Students should be dependable, organized and hard-working for these rewarding positions.  

Work Days and Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday; Hours 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. PLUS 30 minute transportation allotment (TOTAL per day = 2 hours); same days each week for continuity.

Semesters: Fall and Spring

Pay Rate: $10 per hour

Number of Positions: 10

Campus jobs are limited. Preference will be given to students who have accepted a Federal Work-Study award. In order to benefit from this preference, FWS students must indicate their FWS status above. Acceptance of a FWS award does not guarantee a campus job.
