Description: The office of financial aid at Notre Dame of Maryland is seeking an innovative student to assist the office of financial aid in creating and maintaining an online social media presence with the goal of expanding and enhancing student engagement throughout the Notre Dame community. The student selected for this pilot position will work with various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and blogs to create an effective outlet for communication and information sharing between the financial aid office and the Notre Dame community. The assistant will also help the office of financial aid with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements: The ideal candidate must be an active, informed, and creative social media user with excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate must also be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information in a professional manner. The candidate must display financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Experience in marketing is preferred. Preference will be given to graduate students in the Contemporary Communication program as well as junior or senior undergraduate students in the communications field.

Hours: Part Time; 10-15 hours per week
Pay Range: $8.25 per hour.
