The President's Day of Service
In celebration of the inauguration of Dr. Conneely as our twelfth president, Notre Dame is declaring April 7 as a day of service to the Baltimore community.
Students, graduates, faculty and staff are partnering with United Way of Central Maryland and generous sponsors from the Greater Baltimore community to promote childhood literacy by assembling summer reading tote bags for the 3,600 children enrolled in Baltimore City Head Start. Notre Dame has set a goal of providing each Baltimore City Head Start participant aged two to four with three books to read this summer!
The Day of Service will take place on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the MBK Gym on Notre Dame’s campus, kicking off at 9 a.m. with Mass in Marikle Chapel. Click here to volunteer!
