About the Program
A major in corporate communication prepares students to meet the communication challenges in the business world that is changing with technology at an ever-increasing pace. The program emphasizes organizational problem solving with an emphasis on managerial roles and responsibilities using technology.
Students will use practical applications to solve current professional challenges and concerns of the workplace, through courses in business, computer studies and communication. Proficiency in the application of technology to organizational planning and operations is stressed, as well as strengthening student writing, speaking and critical-thinking skills.
A student may choose to minor in corporate communication (six courses) with any other major offered. The corporate communication major is administered by the communication arts department.
