About the School
From physics to philosophy, business to biology, music to mathematics, the School of Arts and Sciences includes degree programs in the natural sciences, social sciences, the fine arts and humanities.
Students will find undergraduate arts and sciences majors in the Women’s College and in the College of Adult Undergraduate Studies. In addition, the School is the academic home of graduate programs in contemporary communication, English, knowledge management, liberal studies, management and nonprofit management.
The 80 permanent faculty members in the school, as well as numerous associate faculty representing business and the professions, serve more than half the students in dedicated programs of study at Notre Dame.
