STEM Summer Institute: Earn 3 Credits in 5 Days
You can help your K-12 students become more engaged in STEM activities by being more engaged yourself. Notre Dame of Maryland University offers a graduate-level STEM Summer Institute, a week-long program that provides teachers with the resources, knowledge and methodology to engage their students with subject matter related to natural resources. This interdisciplinary program is a great opportunity for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines.
Each day will focus on a different topic using guides created by the Department of Natural Resources, including: Water Education for Teachers, Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, The Wonders of Wetlands, the National Geographic Field Scope and Climate Science 101. Earn three graduate credits for a reduced fee of $1200 (covers registration and all books/materials) and have fun while you learn.
