CONTENT:

This course focuses on design and implementation of web pages. Students will use HTML and other script languages to develop web pages with graphics, links, tables, forms, and cascading style sheets. Principles of page design and legal and ethical issues will be presented and evaluated.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

* Use code to create links, tables, and cascading style sheets

* Incorporate graphical files and image maps

* Apply design principles for usable and accessible interface

* Explain ethical and legal issues in web design

* Lab assignments

ASSIGNMENTS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Computer assignments 80%
Online participation 20%

INTERNET ACCESS:

Internet access is required; this course is web-based, i.e., totally online.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Students are expected to read course materials online, submit weekly assignments and participate in all online discussion activities. Lack of participation may result in failure.
