CST-261 Web Page Design

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course focuses on coding and designing of Web pages using HTML and JavaScript to create high-level Internet content.  It includes legal and ethical issues, as well as human-computer interaction design concepts.  Students demonstrate the progression of their skills through the successful completion of a number of practical projects.  [3 credits]

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Use code to create links, tables, and cascading style sheets
  2. Incorporate graphical files and image maps
  3. Apply design principles for usable and accessible interface
  4. Explain ethical and legal issues in web design  

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Computer assignments
  2. Online participation
