2007 - 2008 Season Outlook

The Gators take the court for the 2007 - 2008 season with a new coaching staff and a young squad with a host of talent.

Junior captain Kimberly Myers, who was the team's MVP last year, leads the Gators into their first season in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.  Myers, who also earned All-AWCC Honorable Mention honors in 2006, led the team in total kills (390) and digs (462) as a sophomore.

Joy Weems brings additional experience to the front line and has developed into a solid middle blocker, finishing her sophomore campaign with 68 total blocks.  Newcomer Regina Atwood rounds out the juniors.  She provides additional height up front as well as the ability to block the middle.  Sophomore Brianna Garrold anchors the defense in the libero position for the Gators.

Freshman Christina Kudrna will quarterback the team from the setter position.  Fellow freshmen and former teammates of Kudrna at john Carroll School, Kate Halbruner and Catherine Subrizi add additional hitting power on the front line.

Other freshmen Ebony Rivers and India Scott provide depth on the front line as they look to make an immediate impact on the net for the Gators.
