Guest Information

Guests must be seated by 9:30 a.m., when the procession begins.

The University recommends that guests arrive no later than 9 a.m. to allow sufficient time for parking and finding a seat for the ceremony.

Helium or Mylar balloons and air horns are not allowed in the Key Ballroom.

Strollers are not permitted in ballroom. Stroller parking is available in the ballroom lobby; however, strollers will be unattended. Please note that neither the University nor the Hilton Baltimore Hotel will be responsible for personal items left in the strollers or the strollers themselves.

For your convenience, a flower vendor will be on site in the Hilton Baltimore Hotel. You can pre-order your flowers to pick up prior to the ceremony.

Personal Belongings

Graduates should refrain from bringing personal belongings (purses, cell phones or other electronic devices) to Commencement. There is no secure location to store these items, and they should not be carried into the ceremony. Neither the University nor the Hilton Baltimore Hotel will be responsible for lost personal items.

On-Campus Viewing Celebration RSVP

The University will also be hosting an on-campus viewing celebration during the ceremony on May 23rd on the Notre Dame of Maryland University's main campus (4701 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210).  Guests who might not be able to visit the Hilton on that Saturday are invited to come to campus to view the ceremony starting at 8:30 a.m. until the ceremony ends, which will be approximately at 12:30 p.m.

Guests will also be able to avoid high traffic in Downtown Baltimore and will have free parking on campus.Seats will be first-come, first-serve; however, we ask that you complete online form found below to RSVP for your guests.  This will enable us to provide light refreshments for the event and to make sure that adequate seating is available.
