Guests must be seated by 9:30 a.m. when the procession begins. The University recommends that guests arrive no later than 9 a.m. to allow sufficient time for parking and finding a seat for the ceremony.
Helium or Mylar balloons and air horns are not allowed in the Baltimore Convention Center's Grand Ballroom.
Strollers are not permitted in ballroom. Stroller parking is available in the ballroom lobby; however, there will not be anyone to attend the strollers. Neither the University nor the Baltimore Convention Center will be responsible for personal items left in the strollers or the strollers themselves.
For your convenience, a flower vendor will be on site in the Convention Center. You can pre-order your flowers online to pick up prior to the ceremony.

Photographs for Commencement
Please note that parents, family members, friends and guests will not be permitted on or near the stage to take photographs during the ceremony. There will be a designated area to the side of the stage for guests to take photographs.
We have made arrangements with Northeast Photo Network for a professional photographer to record the moment you receive your diploma during Commencement. You will receive a passport-sized, full-color proof in the mail approximately three weeks after the ceremony with the option to order enlargement packages at reasonable prices. There is no obligation to purchase.
Would you like a photograph with your friends on the day of graduation? If you arrive by 8 a.m., you will have the opportunity to have photos taken by Northeast Photo Network— on a first come, first served basis—in a designated area adjacent to the Grand Ballroom.
