May 6, 2010
Anne Y.F. Lin, Pharm. D. founding dean of College of Notre Dame of Maryland School of Pharmacy, was recently honored as one of Maryland’s “Top 100 Women” by The Daily Record, in recognition of her professional accomplishment, community leadership and mentoring.
Since joining Notre Dame in 2009, Dr. Lin has assembled a top-tier team of faculty and administrators from across the country. The co-ed program is distinguished for its focus on leadership development and women’s health care across the lifespan. Nearly 500 applicants vied for 70 available seats in the school’s inaugural class.
Dr. Lin earned her bachelor and doctorate degrees in pharmacy from St. John’s University and completed her residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. She attributes her professional success to the mentoring and guidance of her professors. As Dr. Lin remains devoted to guiding the next generation of pharmacy professionals, mentoring continues to be a crucial part of her work with students.
Earlier this year, Dr. Lin was named a “Health Care Hero” by The Daily Record for her leadership in the pharmacy field, as well has her commitment to caring for the greater community.
