As a Sister of Mercy, I fully embrace the University’s mission and I feel privileged to be part of the developmental experience of students who will “transform the world.” This mission of the university is in alignment with the mission of the Sisters of Mercy. Further, as board chair of the Conference for Mercy Higher Education, I have the opportunity to learn how our 17 colleges and universities in the US similarly foster transformational leadership.
Within the field of healthcare I integrate professional practice and scholarship in my courses. My professional background in healthcare administration, my responsibilities on healthcare boards, and my scholarship in health policy provide me considerable insight into the healthcare sector as well as the nonprofit sector.
Graduate level courses include healthcare finance, healthcare economics and an overview of the US healthcare delivery system.
