OFA Vision Statement

The Vision of the Office of Financial Aid is to deliver effective, efficient and courteous service to students and their families. In collaboration with federal and state agencies and institutional departments, the Office of Financial Aid diligently tends this relationship to maintain accountability and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, in order to reasonably assure the most equitable and ethical awarding of financial assistance.

OFA Mission Statement

The Office of Financial Aid of College of Notre Dame of Maryland has the mission of providing prospective and returning students with professional, prompt, and efficient service. This mission consists of counseling and guiding students through the financial aid process while adhering to all federal, state, and institutional guidelines to ensure that students receive financial assistance.

OFA Goals

1. To enhance the awareness and education of students and families through the development and dissemination of financial aid information.
2. To promote online financial aid tools that will support student learning and strengthen financial aid opportunities.
3. To improve the quality of customer service to students by maintaining active working relationships with other student services areas.
