To help you meet your educational expenses, College of Notre Dame is pleased to offer FACTS as a convenient budget plan. FACTS is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low-cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses. It is not a loan program; therefore, you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments through FACTS is a $25.00 per semester (1-6 months) or $45.00 annual (7-12 months) non-refundable FACTS Enrollment Fee. The enrollment fee is automatically deducted within 14 days of the posting of the agreement to the FACTS system.

Using FACTS is simple. You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:

1. Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) - ACH payments are those payments you have authorized FACTS to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have preapproved for your expenses at the College of Notre Dame. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the fifth of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.
2. Credit Card Option - Many students and families have requested the option of charging their monthly tuition payment to VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card. This enables you to take advantage of various bonus programs offered by your credit card company. If you elect to budget your expenses by using your credit card, it will be automatically charged on the fifth of each month. The payment amount is specified on the FACTS agreement and will continue until the balance due is paid in full. All credit card payments will be processed by FACTS Card Services.

Enroll in the FACTS Payment Plan online by clicking on eCashier to the right and following the instructions. Be sure to have the following information:

1. student's social security number
2. name, address and e-mail address of the person responsible for making the payments
3. To protect your privacy, you will need to create your own unique FACTS Access Code. Please be sure it is something you can easily remember.
4. account information for the responsible person
   • If paying by automatic bank payments you will need the bank name, telephone number, account number and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check.
   • If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card number and expiration date.

Please remember that once you have submitted your FACTS agreement online, any down payment or full payment is deducted immediately. A $2.00 FACTS Enrollment Fee will be assessed for a full payment.

Contact the College of Notre Dame business office at 410-532-3600 to determine what types of changes can be made to your agreement. Balance adjustments may be necessary due to changes in financial aid award or changes in class schedules. Students must notify the College of Notre Dame business office of any changes affecting your FACTS agreement balance. Adjustments will not be made without the proper notification. Notification must be received 10 days prior to the next scheduled payment date.

Formal withdrawal forms are required and must be submitted to the registrar. If an adjustment or withdrawal results in a credit to your student account, the refunds will be processed within 30 days. Refunds will be issued by College of Notre Dame.
