Financial aid is awarded based on your individual financial need and eligibility, and may include various types of aid. This is called your financial aid package. Your package may include any combination of the types of aid described below.

Grants: Need based gift aid that do not have to be repaid.

Scholarships: Gift aid based on academic peformance, talent or achievement.

Work Study: Allows students with need to earn money for educational expenses.

Loans: Borrowed money which must be repaid with interest.

• Perkins Loan - For students with very high financial need
• Graduate Plus Loan - For graduate students only
• Parent Plus Loan - For parents with dependent undergraduate students.
• Alternative Loan - Higher interest private loans through specific lenders.
