On April 25, faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni, students and friends gathered to celebrate more than 100 years of teaching experience represented by retiring faculty members Dr. Michael Storey, Leonor Blum, Dr. Charles Ritter and Sr. Kathleen Marie Engers. Theirs is a legacy of teaching, guidance, and compassion that changed the lives of generations of students.
Please join members of the Notre Dame of Maryland community in honoring our retiring faculty by making a gift to The Notre Dame Fund today. Under the Gift Information section of the giving form, select "In honor of" and indicate the first and last name of the retiring faculty member you would like to honor.
Gifts to The Notre Dame Fund provide students and faculty with essential and tangible support for financial aid, technology upgrades, student programs and campus improvements. A gift of any size is a vote of confidence in Notre Dame that will help elevate our rankings, attract new students and resources, and raise our profile, while paying tribute to these esteemed faculty members who embody the Notre Dame of Maryland mission. Below are video clips of each faculty member sharing their thoughts and memories during the Remembering with Retiring Faculty event.
Sponsored by the Continuing Education Chapter of the Alumnae and Alumni Association. Proceeds benefit the Notre Dame Fund and the Continuing Education Scholars Fund which includes support for adult women pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Notre Dame.
