This workshop provides an overview of the partnership between NDMU SSND, and Beyond Borders who are working together to improve the lives of the Haitian people in LaGonav, Haiti.  Using a “train the teachers” model, members of the Notre Dame team shared education techniques and strategies for a week last summer.  Haitian teachers had opportunities to learn the new techniques in the morning and then apply them with children in the afternoon.  The workshop will focus on this past summers adventures as well as plans and challenges for the future.
