September 11, 2012
Notre Dame of Maryland University continues to be ranked among Best Regional Universities-North by U.S. News & World Report, coming in at No. 33 in the magazine’s annual college guide. For the fourth consecutive year, Notre Dame was highlighted as one of the region’s “Great Schools, Great Prices,” for offering high quality academic programs and small class sizes, resulting in significant value for students and their families.
“At Notre Dame, we believe in the transformative role of education in the life of our students. Our academically rigorous program is among the main reasons Notre Dame continues to rank among the region’s most highly-regarded universities,” said President James F. Conneely, Ph.D. “Benefiting from a tradition firmly rooted in the liberal arts and our Catholic heritage, our graduates become competent and compassionate leaders in fields as diverse as health care, education, business and the arts and sciences.”
The national rankings, which include more than 1,400 schools nationwide, are available today at www.usnews.com/colleges.
