College of Notre Dame of Maryland Hosts First Thursdays Information Sessions

March 15, 2011

College of Notre Dame of Maryland is hosting “First Thursdays” open house and recruitment events the first Thursday of every month, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Fourier Hall, showcasing the College of Adult Undergraduate Studies (formerly Weekend College and Accelerated College) and Graduate Studies Program.

Upcoming events are scheduled for April 7, May 5 and June 2. Sessions kick off with a wine and cheese reception at 5:30 p.m.

First Thursdays offer prospective students seeking flexible undergraduate or graduate programs the opportunity to meet faculty and network with future classmates. The evenings will feature a wine and cheese reception, followed by breakout sessions tailored to each college and program of interest.

College of Notre Dame offers nine undergraduate majors through its College of Adult Undergraduate Studies (CAUS) and 15 advanced degrees through the Graduate Studies Program and School of Pharmacy.

Prospective students attending a First Thursday program will receive a waiver for either the $45 application fee or the $125 first semester registration/technology fee.

First Thursdays are open to all who are interested in learning more about College of Notre Dame. Registration is requested at www.ndm.edu/firstthursdays.
