Notre Dame Celebrates Living Well Week

Notre  Dame is observing Living Well Week from Feb. 9 to 15 with a series of events that will offer students, faculty and staff opportunities to take care of mind, body and spirit. Take a look at the schedule below and plan to join in!

During the week, we will be conducting a School Supply Drive for the students of John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle School in Baltimore City. Needed items include: loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, #2pencils, 3x5 index cards, crayons, markers, scissors, highlighters, 3-ring binders, glue sticks, pocket dictionaries, and dry erase markers.  Please drop off items in Doyle Lobby.

Zentangle is a form of “artistic meditation”.  This workshop, will teach you an easy way to draw beautiful designs that are fun and relaxing to create. The creativity options and pattern combinations are boundless.  No artistic talent is required -- anyone can do it!  Refreshments will be served.

Will involve learning about breathing techniques, the concept of mindfulness, mindfully practicing the four postures (sitting, walking, standing and lying down) and moving (primarily through Qui Gung). Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably.
