Tutoring Services
Peer Tutors
ACE hires its student tutors from a variety of disciplines at Notre Dame. Being a tutor is a paid position on campus. Searches for available and qualified tutors are done routinely throughout the year by publicizing the position to the student body as well as consulting faculty members. Please contact ACE if you would like more information regarding peer tutoring positions (Katey Earle, Tutoring and Service-Learning Coordinator: 410-532-5338; kearle2@ndm.edu).
Tutor Request
ACE provides a peer tutoring program to all Notre Dame students. Tutoring sessions occur anywhere on campus but are by appointment only. Scheduling an appointment generally takes up to one week. Be sure to make the request well before a final exam or research paper is due. Complete the form below to submit a tutor request.
Note: ACE does not offer tutoring for undergraduate level Biology or Chemistry courses. If you are seeking assistance in these areas, please contact your professor. This is per the request of Biology and Chemistry Departments.
Tutor Request Form
Be sure to read about the Additional Tutoring Resources available to you if you are seeking help with a foreign language course or writing assignment (drafting, stylizing, editing, etc) before completing the Tutor Request Form. After you complete the form, you receive and e-mail with a Tutoring Agreement. If you encounter difficulty retrieving the document it can be accessed here: Tutoring Agreement. Please read, sign and deliver it to ACE.
