Apply to be a Peer Tutor
Are you interested in an on-campus job and think you may be qualified to tutor in a particular course/subject? The tutoring program hires its student tutors from a variety of disciplines at Notre Dame. Being a tutor is a paid position on campus. Searches for available and qualified tutors are done routinely throughout the year by publicizing the position to the student body as well as consulting faculty members. Please contact the tutor coordinator about the procedure to apply.

Tutoring  & Academic Assistance Resources

There are a variety of resources on campus to ensure your academic success. Please read through the options available to you to determine what resources will best suit your needs.

Peer Tutoring

The tutoring program provides a peer tutoring program to all Notre Dame students. Tutoring sessions occur anywhere on campus but are by appointment only. Scheduling an appointment generally takes up to one week. If you are seeking assistance preparing for a final exam or research paper, make your request well in advance of the test date/due date. Please be aware that the Success Center may contact appropriate faculty and administrators to determine the best route to meet your tutoring needs. (Note: Tutoring is not offered for undergraduate level Biology or Chemistry courses per the request of those respective departments. Contact your professors for assistance in these fields.)
