Registration, Course and Exam Schedules
Accessing Course Information
You may check on course availability and up-to-the-minute information through WebAdvisor.
Go to WebAdvisor for Students and click on "Search for Sections." Then enter the desired semester information and one additional field to gain access (follow instructions under "Help" or click here for more information). See "online registration instructions" for more information about registering online.
WebAdvisor is an online search tool for Notre Dame students and faculty. WebAdvisor data is real-time and reflects the same information that is available through the Registrar's office. Available information includes: course titles, space availability, faculty contact information, course descriptions and days and times of course offerings.
Students must be registered for online courses no later than the start of the semester. Students will use the Joule course management system for online course access.
Students dropping or withdrawing from the online courses will follow the drop/withdraw schedule as outlined for “B” schedule courses.

Changes to schedule
Changes can be made via drop/add (see registration booklet for details on process and forms/approvals needed).
Summer class changes (drop/add) need to be made prior to the start of the class due to the intense nature of the courses.
Fall class changes (drop/add) – refer to the academic calendar for drop/add periods for Women’s College and Pharmacy; CAUS and GRA must complete any changes prior to the start of the class.
NO changes can be made via WebAdvisor once the semester has begun.
Students should review the academic calendar AND the withdrawal chart (registrar’s pages on the web) for important information on deadline dates to withdraw from a class (varying dates due to different lengths of classes). Last day to withdraw from fall semester long classes is October 10th. For all summer and other fall classes, please refer to the withdrawal chart.
