Connecting commuter students to the Gator community and beyond.
The Office of Residence & Commuter Life provides support services to commuter students that will facilitate their success and connection to the Notre Dame of Maryland University community. The office is here to make it easier for commuter students to ask questions, get connected to campus & community resources, and advocate on your behalf. In addition, the office also provides programs and leadership opportunities specifically for commuter students to help show their Gator community pride.
Commuter students include anyone enrolled at NDMU in the Women's College, College of Adult Undergraduate Studies, and College of Graduate Studies. Women's College students are able to commute to campus while earning their first 60 credits if they are living with a parent or legal guardian less than 30 miles from campus. All Women's College students must complete the Commuter Student Intent form each spring during the Housing Selection Process.
NDMU wants commuter students to drive their university experience home. We encourage commuter students to invest their time and energy on campus to become involved in order to consider NDMU a home away from home.
