Through the Department of Athletics, College of Notre Dame of Maryland offers a wellness program that allows students to achieve fitness and healthy lifestyles.
The Wellness Program holds several programs throughout the school year that are open to the College community. Topics in the past have included CPR, self-defense, body sculpting and aerobics. The program also maintains the Notre Dame fitness center and pool and hosts weekly sessions of Jazzercise and Yoga.
Student Health Educators
The Student Health Educators (SHE) is an organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles on the College campus. SHE meets on a regular basis and conducts programs such as Alcohol Awareness, Stress and Time Management, Smoking Cessation, among others.
The Notre Dame fitness center is located on the gym level of the MBK Athletic Complex. Renovated in 2003, the fitness center features a full complement of weight and cardio equipment. The fitness center is available free of charge to all full-time Notre Dame students, faculty and staff.
