The director of university communications is the University’s primary contact with media.
If you are contacted by a member of the media, call Christian Kendzierski, Director of University Communications, at extension 5546 immediately.
If you have an event that is open to the public and you want to promote it through the media, contact the Communications Department no later than six weeks in advance.
Information needed includes:
- Name of the Event
- Date & Time
- Event Contact Name and Phone Number (than can be published)
- Purpose of the Event
If you have a story idea that might interest a member of the media, contact Christian Kendzierski.
The University has developed communications protocols in the event of a crisis.
Depending on the situation, various communications methods will be used, including:
- Text Alerts
- Web Updates
- Direct Communication with Media
