In an effort to preserve as much of the college experience as possible while keeping the health and safety of our community as the top priority, NDMU has made the following plans for living on campus.

This fall, the University is planning to allow both new and returning students to live on campus. In order to ensure a safe living space, all students will be assigned to a single room in either Meletia Hall or Doyle Hall.

We are also making plans for ways to make classrooms, housing, dining, and student activities safe for our community through social distancing and other health guidelines. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

The cost will not increase. Students will be charged the same rate as if they were in a double room.

It is important to note that this arrangement applies to the 2020-21 academic year. Once restrictions due to the pandemic are no longer necessary, the University will return to assigning single, double, and triple rooms. A single room assignment this year does not guarantee a single room the following year.

The University will continue to take guidance from government officials concerning safety and will be prepared to pivot to remote learning if needed.

How to Secure Campus Housing

Note: These steps are for new students. Current students can skip to step 3.

  1. Go to your Personal URL

    If you don't remember, go to discover.ndm.edu and enter your email address. If you have already inquired or applied to NDMU, you will be redirected to your Personal URL. If not, you will need to submit the full inquiry form.
     
  2. Submit your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit

    The deposit confirms your intent to attend NDMU this fall. You can access the payment portal through the "Secure Your Seat - Deposit Now" tab on your Personal URL.
     
  3. Submit the Housing Agreement & Intent Form

    This lets us know that you plan to live on campus. Once completed, you will receive information about next steps, room assignments, safety updates, etc.
