NDMU staff play a crucial role in supporting the University’s mission to provide an excellent educational experience to every student. Your well-being is vital to our continued success.

What You Need to Know

  • Effective, Wednesday, March 2, 2022, NDMU will adopt a mask-optional policy for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, with the following exceptions:
    • Face masks will continue to be required in all classroom settings, including labs and other instructional spaces. This measure remains in place out of an abundance of caution, given the increased density over a prolonged period of time in many instructional settings.
    • Masks should also be worn by anyone who is positive or has symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with the virus.
  • All students, faculty, and staff who will be learning, working, or living on NDMU property, including participating in off-campus professional program clinicals, practicums, and internships, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and receive a booster shot, when eligible. Individuals that are 100% remote will remain exempt from the University’s vaccine requirement.
  • Individuals may confidentially seek medical accommodations via the Office of Human Resources. Remote work will no longer be approved following June 14, 2021, except as may be required under ADA.
