COVID-19 Testing

NDMU is requiring two types of testing to help protect our campus community:

  1. Pre-Arrival Testing: Negative viral COVID-19 test results are submitted before arrival or return to campus for a new semester.
  2. Surveillance Testing: A free, weekly program that randomly selects 50 members of the NDMU community to be tested to monitor the prevalence of COVID-19 on campus.

More information about testing policies and procedures and the University's pandemic response can be found on the NDMU Together: Student Guide.

Need a Test?

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have a known exposure, please complete the daily symptom checker and follow the guidance provided by our contact tracing team. If you recently participated in a large gathering/event but do not have any symptoms, it’s best to wait 5–7 days after the event (median incubation time for the virus) before getting tested.

Rapid COVID Testing Available by appointment for all students in the Office of Health Services. Test results are available in 15 minutes. Please email: healthservices@ndm.edu to schedule an appointment for testing or complete an appointment request.

Where Can I Get a Mask on Campus?

If you arrive to campus and forget a mask, you can call public safety: 410-435-0100. They will bring a mask to you before you enter a building.

Masks are also available for purchase in the Document Center:
