Accreditation and Program Approval
- Notre Dame of Maryland University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
- Notre Dame of Maryland University is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and belongs to the Southern Regional Education Board.
- The School of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
- The School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degree programs at Notre Dame of Maryland University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

- The Maryland State Department of Education and MHEC collaborate on the approval of education programs.

Middle States Accreditation
Notre Dame of Maryland University is accredited by MSCHE. The University was last reaffirmed on June 22, 2017 after its regular Self-Study and accreditation review.
