Biography

Dr. Snow has dedicated over thirty years to complementary and integrative health, with experience spanning clinical, research, instructional, and administrative domains. He is particularly interested in how we merge traditional knowledge and practices with modern scientific perspectives. Other areas of interest include placebo effects and the use of evidence-informed practice by complementary and integrative health practitioners. His primary area of expertise is herbal medicine and the intersection of culinary and medicinal herbs with the field of nutrition. As an instructor, he aims to help students find and evaluate information resources, develop their own voice, and apply learning to their specific interests and future career goals.
