Fall Sports

The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) intends to move forward with scheduled conference seasons and championships for all fall sports including cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball for NDMU. This is an exciting next step in our return to campus for our student-athletes and our Notre Dame community.

All-CSAC institutions are firmly committed to following expectations outlined in the CSAC Return to Play Plan in combination with all NCAA safety recommendations. At NDMU, we continue to follow our NDMU Together safety protocols and closely monitor all local, state and federal guidelines in maintaining the health and safety of our community and our student-athletes.

All current rostered fall student-athletes have been in contact with their respective coaches to prepare for the start of their season. At this time, only students who have been cleared to come to campus are eligible to participate in athletics this fall. Any questions regarding eligibility can be directed towards the athletic director, Ashley Hodges

The CSAC Board of Directors, athletic administrators and conference office staff will continue to monitor the conditions of COVID-19 throughout the semester to maintain the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials and game personnel and make necessary adjustments as the season proceeds. Spectators must complete a COVID-19 symptom checker and may not attend if they are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms.

Outdoor: Unvaccinated spectators at outdoor facilities should socially distance from those who do not reside in their household.

Indoor: Spectators at indoor facilities, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times. Additionally, unvaccinated individuals should socially distance from those who do not reside in their household.

Any spectator refusing to comply with any of the above-mentioned protocols will be immediately removed from the premises and may forfeit the privilege of attending future Notre Dame of Maryland University Athletics events.
