Caroline’s Cupboard (FIC 015, Garden Level of Meletia Hall)

There is an assortment of nonperishable food in the cabinets, refrigerated items and and hygiene products.   All students, faculty and staff with a need are welcome to the resources.  The cupboard is open 24 hours a day.  Please take what you need, but consider the needs of others.

If you want to donate to Caroline’s Cupboard, please contact Yetta Nowak (ynowak@ndm.edu), our Director of Service & Community Engagement. We welcome donations of food and personal hygiene products.

Food items that are in high demand include:

  • Microwaveable nonperishable meals such as macaroni and cheese cups or soups
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Pasta
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Snack items such as chips and microwaveable popcorn in individual serving sizes
  • Shelf stable almond milk (requiring no refrigeration)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Cereal
  • Shelf-stable, non-perishable almond milk
  • Pancake Mix
  • Personal care items such as feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner
  • First aid items such as bandages and wipes

We are thankful to have received donations from Trader Joes, Target and Costco.  Wegman’s Grocery Store and Grocery Outlet of Cockeysville have been regular partners to Caroline’s Cupboard.
