Collecting for the Mo(ve)ment: Rapid Response Collecting at Baltimore City Cultural Institutions

Caroline O'Donnell '19 graduated from NDMU with a degree in Art History and History with a Pre-Museum Studies concentration. She has since completed her MA in Art and Museum Studies at Georgetown University, where she wrote her thesis on "rapid response collecting," the practice by which museums and other institutions acquire contemporary artifacts that document or respond to current events or major moments in recent history. Join us for an open conversation with Caroline about how several Baltimore institutions are engaging in this practice.
