We have affiliations with several schools in the Northeast region of the United States. Currently, we offer 3+4 and 4+4 program options.

3+4 Program

3+4 programs are agreements with participating institutions that allow the School of Pharmacy to award qualified applicants both a bachelor’s degree from the undergraduate institution and a Pharm.D. This 7-year accelerated track to two degrees is contingent upon the completion of three years of prerequisite courses as defined by the undergraduate institution, and four years of pharmacy school afterward.

The benefits of this type of program are twofold:

  • First, students who participate will be required to attend one fewer year of school than other applicants to achieve the same result: both a bachelor of science degree and a doctor of pharmacy degree.
  • Second, participating students will graduate from pharmacy school with two degrees in higher education, whereas students who have simply completed their prerequisite requirements with no degree planned at non-participating institutions will only receive a Pharm.D. degree.

Qualified students are also guaranteed interview slots during the School of Pharmacy application cycle.
