Saundarya Poudel
As a commuter student myself, I’ve noticed that there’s a lack of events and initiatives tailored specifically to our needs and schedules. While I love how inclusive our campus is, I want to make sure that commuters also feel a strong sense of belonging and connection. I'm running for Commuter Representative position to advocate for our needs, create events that bring us together, and ensure that we are not just passing through campus—but truly a part of it.

Hannah Santos
Hey NDMU! I’m Hannah Santos, and I’m running for SGA Vice President and Resident Housing Association Representative because I genuinely care about our campus community and want to be a voice for real, meaningful change. I’m currently serving as your SGA Sophomore Class President and working as a Resident Assistant—both roles have given me valuable insight into student life, leadership, and the challenges we face every day. As SGA VP, I want to focus on: Transparency between administration and students—so you know what’s happening and your voice is part of the conversation. Better mental health support, including more accessible counseling and campus-wide wellness efforts. Improved dining services with more inclusive, nutritious, and diverse food options that reflect our needs. More funding and visibility for student clubs and cultural events, because our diversity and creativity deserve the spotlight. As an RHA Rep, I’ll use my experience as an RA to: Partner more closely with Facilities to speed up response times for maintenance issues. Advocate for cleaner, safer
common spaces an better communication when things need fixing. Make our residence halls feel more like home, with student-driven improvements and events that build community. With my experience, I already have the relationships and understanding to advocate effectively for you. I’m not just here to represent—I’m here to act, to listen, and to follow through. NDMU deserves leaders who are connected, compassionate, and committed. I’d be honored to continue serving you in a bigger way. Let’s build the kind of campus we all feel proud to be a part of—together.
