All full time Women’s College students are required to reside on campus in the residence halls during their freshmen and sophomore years or as specified in their financial aid award letter.

A student may apply for a waiver from the on campus residence requirement if a student:

  • Resides within 25 miles of NDMU’s campus with their parent(s) or guardian;
  • Is married and/or has a child;
  • Has a medical condition that requires special living arrangements that residential life cannot reasonably provide; OR
  • Other extenuating circumstances.

Medical waiver requests (c) and medical documentation sufficient to support the request may be submitted to the Director of Accessibility and Health Promotion at accessibility@ndm.edu

Approved waivers may be accompanied by a reduction in a student’s institutional financial aid award due to a change to commuter status.
