A Child’s Place Preschool opens for the 2021-2022 school year on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

A Child’s Place Preschool is designed to encourage children’s natural love of learning in an environment where they feel comfortable, confident, and secure. Through a holistic approach, we promote each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.

A Child’s Place is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education/Office of Child Care and participates in the Maryland Excels program. ACP offers a State-approved kindergarten for five-year olds. Classes are organized by age and instructed by a lead teacher and an assistant teacher.

About A Child's Place

Our small class sizes and location on NDMU's park-like campus offer unique educational opportunities to take learning outside. As a designated lab school, we also welcome teaching students from NDMU and nearby universities which further enriches learning for ACP children.
