At A Child's Place, we promote each child's emotional, social, cognitive and physical development through a holistic approach.

Each year, we serve 60 children ages 3 through 6 from all over the world including the U.S., Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central and South America.

Our preschool is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and offers an MSDE-approved kindergarten program.

Due to COVID-19, A Child’s Place will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The regular school day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Before and after care is provided at no additional cost.

About A Child's Place

Our small class sizes and location on NDMU's park-like campus offer unique educational opportunities to take learning outside. As a designated lab school, we also welcome teaching students from NDMU and nearby universities which further enriches learning for ACP children.
