Gabriela Martinic has been a career diplomat since 1995. Her professional accomplishments include:
Served as United Nations Disarmament Fellow, Minister Plenipotentiary
Chaired the UNDC Working Group on “Confidence Building Measures in the field of conventional arms.”
Served as Second Director of Regional Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, in charge of the substantive aspects of different Regional Head of State and Government Summits
Published in UN Chronicle on the occasion of the Millennium Summit, taught at the ISEN, and was an invited speaker by the Organization of American States (OAS), Columbia and Princeton Universities, among other institutions.
Education
Graduated from the Instituto del Servicio Exterior de la Nación (ISEN) -the Argentinean Diplomatic Academy- in 1993, and started her career at the International Security, Nuclear and Space Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina
Holds a bachelor´s degree in International Relations from Belgrano University (Buenos Aires, Argentina 1990)
