We have a few break closings during the academic year, and we want to ensure you're aware of the dates and information so you check out appropriately.

Spring Break 2023 Move-Out 

NDMU Residence Halls will close for Spring break on Friday, March 31. All students must leave for Spring break, unless you have an extenuating circumstance and request to stay over break. The deadline to submit a request is March 4 at Noon.

Check-Out

Wednesday March 29-Friday March 31

Each resident will check out with their RA/Res Life staff. Your RA will send an email with directions on how to sign up for a check-out time slot.

Dining Hall

Closes: April 2
Reopens: April 10 for dinner

Students who stay over Spring break will be responsible for their own meals.

End of Year 2023 Move-Out 

NDMU Residence Halls will close for Summer Break on:

Wednesday, May 10 at 12:00 p.m. (School of Pharmacy Students)

Tuesday, May 16 at 12:00 p.m. (Undergraduate Students, ABSN and other Grad Students). All students must leave for summer break unless you have an extenuating circumstance and need to stay over summer break.

If you need to stay past 5/16 you will be charged a daily rate of $47 for a single room or $36 for a double room.

Students who are graduating may stay in the residence halls until commencement: Wednesday, May 24.

Check-Out

*Students should leave the residence halls 24hrs after their last final.*

Student can start checking out the week of finals.

Wednesday, May 3rd- Wednesday, May 10th (School of Pharmacy Students)

Wednesday, May 10th - Tuesday, May 16th (Undergraduate Students, ABSN and other Grad Students)

** Please remember when you arrive for your check out time slot, you MUST have all of your belongings packed up so the RA can check you out. Once the RA checks you out, you MUST leave the building. **

If you want to request a summer storage space on campus, space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
