How to Withdraw
You must complete a withdrawal form if you are unable to continue in a class once the class has started.
You are responsible for all tuition charges based on the date the withdrawal form is received in the registration office
Drops are processed before the official start date and have no grade show on the transcript;
Withdrawals are processed with a “W” grading designation once the official class start date has passed – whether the student attended or not. This “W” grade has no bearing on the calculation of the grade point average – it is simply a reflection of being registered officially and the need to withdraw once the class has begun. There is no academic “penalty” associated with a “W” grade.
You must be registered for online courses no later than the start of the semester. Use the Joule Course Management System to access online courses.
Drops or withdrawals from online courses will follow the drop/withdraw schedule as outlined for “B” schedule courses.
