Technology permits us to be fully immersed in current topics of political conflicts and differences. Through social media, we are enabled to easily and quickly exchange differences of opinions by hidden behind a screen. Conflict has taken on a new persona that can be devastating to the pursuit of peace. In this workshop, we will work together to define the peace we need in this world starting on our campus, review the varying types of current conflict within social media, and explore ways in which we as a community can work to be an element of peace.
