Art Therapy

Major

The Art Therapy program integrates knowledge of the visual arts, human development, psychological theories and counseling techniques. Our interdisciplinary curriculum studies psychology and art in depth and provides a pathway to pursue a graduate degree and meet the requirements to become a licensed art therapist.

As the first university to offer art therapy degree programs in Maryland, Notre Dame allows you to earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree while meeting all of the necessary requirements to pursue licensure.
