Welcome Week

Join your fellow Gators for a relaxing, beginner friendly yoga lead instruction. Open to all students and levels of experience. Yoga mats are provided (limited quantities); however, you are welcome to bring your own. Yogurt station and water will be available following the yoga session. Sponsored by Anchorage Program, the Women’s College peer-to-peer mentorship program.

Meet your community members and Community Assistants while learning about residential campus policies and life in residence halls. This is a mandatory meeting for all residential students. Please contact Housing & Residence Life at residencelife@ndm.edu with any questions.

New residential students participating in the Emerging Leaders Living-Learning Community will gather over dessert to learn more about the program, meet the Emerging Leaders mentors, and engage with other students participating in the community. Light refreshments provided. This event is open only to current and former Emerging Leaders LLC participants.

Enjoy BBQ with your fellow Gators as well as lawn games and music provided by our very own Notre Dame Radio Station! Use your meal plan or pay at the door ($7.00 for students without dining plan; $13.00 for guests).

Commuting to campus this fall? This is meant for you! Commuter students will have the opportunity to meet with Road Scholars members, the NDMU commuter student organization, along with Public Safety to receive updates, resources, and information about commuting to campus this academic year. Students will also be able to obtain a parking permit at this session.

Consider giving of your time and talent alongside your fellow Gators, Mission & Service, and Bonner Leaders following an introduction to service and its connection to our Notre Dame mission. Students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of on and off-campus activities, including assistance with preparing local Baltimore City schools with preparing for the start of the school year and decorating and filling toiletry bags to be distributed to women we serve at our various community partner sites.  

Please join NDMU community members along with your families and guests for brunch and BINGO in Doyle Dining Hall. BINGO will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 12:30 p.m.

Students with meal plans will be able to utilize their student ID card and swipe that card upon entry. Students without dining plans may purchase brunch at the door for a discounted $7.00. Guests may purchase brunch at the door for $12.00. Sponsored by SAGE Dining Services & Student Engagement and Community Programs.

All work study and on campus opportunities will be listed on Handshake. Professional dress is not required for this event, however, you should come prepared if you want a headshot.
