Ready to Impact Patients' Lives

Student, NDMU Class of 2021
Doctor of Pharmacy
The NDMU School of Pharmacy has a great balance between didactics and leadership/extracurricular opportunities, which has prepared me to enter the real world and impact patients’ lives. The thing I love most about NDMU is the culture and environment the school sets for its students. As a class, we came here as strangers and now we are parting ways as one big family.

“My main focus is public health, and I saw firsthand the innovative ways that Notre Dame was giving back to the local community. They don’t just prepare you to become a successful pharmacist: they are setting you up to use those skills to benefit society.”

Alum, NDMU Class of 2022
Doctor of Pharmacy
"What attracted me to go here is the open-door policy of all the professors. These professors not only teach for the School of Pharmacy, but they also have their own practices. Despite their busy schedules, every time I had a question they would make me feel comfortable."

Originally from Puerto Rico, Paola Rivera Mudafort D’22 first came to Maryland 10 years ago. As a pharmacist, she wants to use her medical knowledge and ability to speak Spanish to help the immigrant community.

Helping Patients in Need

Alum, NDMU Class of 2021
Doctor of Pharmacy
Patient care is my number one priority. Before I came to pharmacy school, I wanted to help patients in need. Notre Dame was the right choice for me because they offer various community outreach opportunities. We went to communities in downtown Baltimore and helped patients in need at women’s health centers. Our instructors were always right there with us, advising us to do better.
