Uniquely Designed for Your Success

Alum, NDMU Class of 2021

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about Notre Dame is that when you are put in a class that you would normally run away from, this school is uniquely designed to help you through it. When you take a class like data analysis or something mathematically driven, and you go to Notre Dame, you can guarantee that you are not going to fail because your teachers are going to support you through it, your fellow students are going to support you through it, and you’re going to come out on top every time.

Skills I Still Carry with Me

Alum, NDMU Class of 2018
Business
The NDMU Business Program set me up for success and has impacted me in so many ways. As a senior preparing to enter the workforce, I attended the First Impressions event organized by the Business Program. This proved helpful—I met some Alums who shared about their journey and transition into the workforce, learned how to make a good first impression, and learned the dos and don'ts of resume writing that I still carry with me. Also, the professors of the Business program continuously challenged me and other students to step outside our comfort zone and believed in us. I am grateful for the preparation I got from Notre Dame of Maryland University’s Business Program. I currently work as a U.S. Bank Oversight & Operations Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Notre Dame taught me to communicate confidently and effectively. Beyond this, I learned practical skills…I am looking forward to challenging myself to be the best I can be in my career field. For the past four years, I have balanced many different courses. I am excited to focus on finance as my career and spend my time and energy improving myself in this area, which is my passion.
