Damozel is Notre Dame of Maryland University's student-run creative literary magazine. Damozel publishes annually and showcases any form of creative writing, art, or photography by current NDMU students and alumni.

Each year, an overarching theme is developed by the Damozel team, consisting of a faculty editor and advisor, as well as student editors. A request for submissions goes out to NDMU students of all majors, including Notre Dame alumni.

How to Submit Your Work

Early in the spring semester, a request for submissions goes out to the campus community. You may submit your work to damozelndmu@gmail.com by the given deadline. With your submission, please include a cover page that lists the following:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Major or Academic Program
  • Class Year
